Its looks better, because we get now a grey bar and next to it, just a black background with our volume switch.

Maybe (I'm just guessing) the new battery indicator is clickable to bring up further info, so he's made it a button, hence the grey background.

I saw MohammadAG (of course) already there - kernel-power seems to have (after Titan somehow just disappeared) a new maintainer.
Actually kernel-power was the reason for me to keep my (finally responsive) N900 - and now with CSSU and kernel-power being alive again - great!

List some reasons for a newer version of python

That way the CSSU Devs can assess how important it is to update it ect.

if you're not scared, i suggest going gentoo prefix route for this. i got sidetracked about a month ago, but will get to going prefix on n900 in a few days.

Please! Make this function default on next update!! /etc/powervr.d/hildon-desktop.ini WSEGL_UseHWSync=1

Try it out!! It is MUCH smoother and my battery lasts longer!!! Help even screen tear!

You can try theme customizer and those fast animations mode with it! Then maemo will be fast as lightning
