If you're interested, I can try to source another (16 or 64gb) for really cheap brand new & cover the postage?

It's okay, mine isn't defective, I just meant that it's frustrating to use. I like having stuff like updated maps and other apps which is basically impossible on the n9.

BTW I accepted the offer for $1600, probably made about $1350 after ebay/paypal fees + shipping insurance. I gave the guy an additional $100 off since he was an n900 owner

It's temperamental, no doubt, in no small part thanks to the near criminal negligence of Nokia...
But depending on your tolerance level it can also be fun/interesting/vibrant, sounds like that quotient has mostly disappeared for you though, unfortunate.
On the upside congrats on your massive win-fall, who knew there's so many poor_unfortunate_gits or idiots (depending on your PoV) on the internetz

Oh right, it doesn't matter anymore since even you found out the N950 sucks.
Wont argue more on this..

Ps: my n950 (that does not suck) will never be for sale

phone is shipped to David.

good news is, that allthough he initially cant spend time on this, given the links on here showing the progress on kernel development and modules, he is more positive.
Lets hope he will find it exciting and start his good work.

Meanwhile, donate, donate to him and to maintain this community!

This got returned because the power / volume up buttons don't work.
Finally took it apart today, looks like Nokia probably sent me a broken one as there should be no stress on this flexible pcb but it's torn

Looks easy to fix, right? Well, that small trace is finer than a human hair...
