Hey all,

After updating power-kernel and rebooting I got a Guru Meditation (funny to see for an old Amiga user) with just a key to panic. This returned me to the bootmenu where I have the original kernel, NITDroid and power-kernel. I was able to start the original kernel.

After I restarted to show someone NITDroid. This failed and since I have not gotten my multiboot menu back.

If anyone can shed some light on this I would be very grateful.

Well,

Ended up reflashing the phone..

Hopefully won't happen again

Had this too and fixed it by just booting to standard kernel and reinstalling kernel-power-bootimg. Multiboot entries got fixed and everything was back to normal.

Code:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
apt-get install kernel-power-bootimg
or try
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power-bootimg

I have maemo, maemo pk and NITDorid installed with multiboot.

In power kernel when i saw an update of kernel-power i upgraded the application by faster app manager and then whenever i try to boot into kernel power mode it shows me the

kernel panic message.

I have already tried reinstalling kernel power bootimg...

is there any other work around or do i need to flash it???

Do the other kernel start up fine? Which version of kernel-power do you have installed? Does the bootimage version fit to that kernel?Check with

apt-cache policy kernel-power kernel-power-modules kernel-power-bootimg
