Long story short. My SE xpheria mini is dead and looking for a replacement but all I can find is 4 inch or bigger. It's just for running, hiking, biking, swimming, hunting and at rare occasions, round house kicking.

Anyone knows if there is any 2-3 inch smartphone currently available in any markets?

Thank you,
Chuck

As you are asking in THIS forum I propose:
N900 or N9
(both are bigger than 3 but smaller than 4 )

My Xperia Z1 Compact isn't as small as the mini but I find it pretty much perfect for running and biking being water proof. You can pick them up pretty cheaply new as they've been superseded by the Z3 and shortly the Z5 Compact.

Yea but he said 2-3 inch. N9 is almost 4 and N900 is generally chunky.

Hence the most S60 V3 perhaps capable. (Apart from E90 AFAIK...)

I feel the same, Xperia Compact series (Z1C,Z3C) are generally balanced interms of size, battery and screen resolution. (Great Sony did not use 1080p on it.)

Maybe I'm biased but I love generally Sony's hardware. (Apart from the 4k screen maybe.)

A bit surprised and disappointed that no one is portig Sailfish OS to Z1C/Z3C? I wish I had the knowledge to do it. It is the HW I dreamed to run SFOS...

I was quite satisfied with my HP Veer - now I passed it to a family member and also got a positive response.

webOS is quite a nice system too

It's not very expensive either.
It has wireless charging and NFC, so you can easily pair it to other webOS devices (like HP Touchpad).
