Heyup

Does anyone have configs for allowing a pc lan to be accessed by N900 over USB cable?

n900(maemo) <--- usb pc suite mode ---> laptop (opensuse 11.2) <---> lan <---> internet

Has this changed in pr1.2? In pr1.1 I am sure I used to be able to connect in pc suite mode and set an ipaddress for each usb0 interface and route between them, I always intended to come back and have a go at getting my internet connection setup as per diag above with static routes and masquerading but I can't seem to be able to set an interface for the usb0 on the n900 anymore.

any thoughts?

i had a similar problem under windows, i had to enable internet connection sharing on xp client for getting internet access via usb on n900.
first of all i checked both ipīs of usb network devices via ping.

dunno the status of your client/n900 configuration but maybe this helps:
is masquerading enabled on your opensuse box?
