Thanks chief!

This was completely unexpected of you!

No wonder you're still my fave here!
The folders can be run from anywhere you just need the deps, which if you have Gonvert or ejpi then you should.

just run ./src/dialcentral_qt.py

Please Read: I am about to upload the first Qt version of Dialcentral to extras-devel. Please do not install unless you want to deal with stuff that breaks and makes downgrade annoying (settings changes).

Because of the above warning, I'm pre-announce Dialcentral 1.1.90. I'm using 90 to indicate this is pre-1.2.0 release but if a serious GV issue arises in the released version of Dialcentral than I will burn a 1.1.9X number to push it out quickly.

Major items of note:
  • First Qt Release (BETA)
  • Access to call cancel
  • Divider on various lists (for time ones, tried to balance heavy/light phone users)
  • Condensed history
  • Changed SMS Entry letter count style from GV to Nokia
  • Tabs are cached between launches
  • Display when history/messages tabs where last refreshed

Also the Dialcentral webpage has moved to a wiki and I've cleaned out some of the bugs.

I've only tested a snapshot and not a built package so far. The snaptshot did work.

In the terminal what specifically did you try and was there anything else reported?

I might have forgotten to update the .desktop file or the top level script it calls.

I'm at work and don't have my n810 handy but my report on my n900: Things start up ok. The only problem seen so far is I can't activate messages or history items due to a bug from a late change. I also forgot to put back in any kind of progress indicator.

Code:
~$ dialcentral
-sh: dialcentral : not found
Nothing else was reported.

I don't think "dialcentral" has ever been in the PATH. The command to run for the Qt version and print all debug stuff to the console:
Code:
/opt/dialcentral/lib/dialcentral_qt.py
