Hello !
I'm trying to make a small python application which will be able to set and lock the global orientation of the device... I already look the code of glol but i don t really understand how i can make it in python....
Maybe someone have already try to do that ?
Or maybe there is a dbus function ??? Or something else ?

Errm, there is a mod in N9QT that achieves this. Should be possible to implement in py if you look at the script but I assume root perms will be required.

And what about compile glol in share object and import it with ctypes ?

Or you python-contextkit to create provider ?

@titilambert why not to use glol cli tool then?
Context.Provider doesn't contain hacky functions for overriding system properties.

In fact, i trying to do an N950 app which lock orientation in portrait mode when the keyboard is close and landscape when is open... It doesn t care about sensors ...
I use glol for now, but i quite slow to kill glol and relaunch glol when i open or close the keyboard ...
