Hmmmm. . . I seem to have a similar problem. I've installed the canola youtube player, but canola doesn't seem to find the flv file I saved to my n800. Am I misunderstanding the capabilities of canola? Should it, with the youtube player installed, be able to play flv saved locally on the tablet?

no, it's there on youtube plugin menu : last item (scroll down) local videos.
It's going to be scanned by the library on the next build. sorry for that it was just time needed to integrate the support on the scanner. But is playable locally fmor inside the youtube plugin
