Okay, so everyone knows about the official support for rotation that PR1.2 brings to the browser. And many of us know about the sorta supported rotation that conversations now has when you press CTRL-Shift-r.

What I didn't know is that the settings menu also goes to portrait mode when you hit CTRL-Shift-r and slide the keyboard shut.

Does anyone know what other apps now go to portrait mode when you hit CTRL-Shift-r?

All apps should go into "portrait" mode when pressing that key combo, it was added into hildon-desktop's code

Is there a way to let those apps turn automatically without pressing key combos or running a script in background?

Btw. Why pr 1.2 still doesn't got this feature?

I don't understand why the pressing of CTRL+SHIFT+R is not saved in apps like contacts or email. it is totally pointless if you have to press it on each start of the app.

Would want to know that, too. Although it would not surprise me if it's a little buggy

*ALL* apps behave like that. The problem is that not all of them but a few are quite ready for it
