Sorry just saw this. I had no issues in country (as long as I open the app and then click the message, if I click the notification window sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt), I will edit in a few with the version

Edit: 1.3.6-1 is the version

Btw thank you for the mms support on the N900 and your continual support of the app

Okay 1.3.6-1 is the latest (devel) version.
I forgot to change the version string in the app itself, so only dpkg tells real version!

So what is your problem right now? (it is a bit unclear to me)

In the US, there are no issues.

I went outside the US, used the same Tmobile settings (since they allow text/data all over the world).

I would "receive" an MMS, but once I tried to open it, I would get "message could not be retrieved"

Hmm, but that sounds more like a roaming provider problem?
Same MMS not receivable outside US but inside works?

Possibly the other provider has modified the mms once more, or routing to your mms server not routed or or ?
Did you ask your provider support?
Sorry, else no idea.

I uninstalled fmms as i have problems receiving mms from some iPhone users and the program did not work that good with the ones i receive as it will only download them but not show them, so i had to go to the .fmms folder and see picture and read text myself.

Now the problem is that i have 2 internet "services" and my phone often chooses the mms instead of the normal internet connection.
So does anybody know how i can delete the mms connection, i cannot do it from the normal config in settings

So,
iPhone MMS you did not receive at all? Or did you find some bak files under .fmms/mms? Then they were received but could not be decoded.
But in the same time (same mobile service provider) you received other MMSs? But those were decoded (pics and texts under .fmms/mms) just the UI cannot show them?
Possibly picture format???

For your other "prob":
just use fAPN from repo (or delete manually from gconf )

I tried to send mms (picture) to my Jolla and Honor 6, got similar message both times:
MMSC: 200_OK
BODY: {'Transaction-Id': '77986', 'Response-Text': 'Bad recipient address', 'MMS-Version': '1.0'. 'Message-Type': 'm-send-conf', 'Response-Status': 'Error-message-format-corrupt'}

Operator in all three phones is Saunalahti (Elisa) in Finland.
fMMS 1.3.6-1 (updated yesterday).
Any idea about what is going on?

And big thanks for continued support of mms on N900!

I also think it can be a very big picture that been sent to me, when this happens i CANNOT download anything, normally it downloads the MMS but will not show it in the fMMS program, but when i get the other (so far from newer iPhone) i cannot download it

To be honest: no idea.
Above message is inconsistent or ambiguous.
Either recipient is bad or message (format?) corrupt.
This would be the first feedback that MMS sent from N900 cannot be delivered.
Regarding the first error the first thing that comes to my mind is whether those mobile devices/SIMs can receive MMS. Here in Germany there are providers that require you to send one MMS (initiator) before you can receive MMS.
The latter error does not tell me anything.

Erm, thanks for the flowers. But I only did a one-time-correction and packaging.
I tried to help out more but when requesting more data to debug it was most often denied (understandably) due to the private nature.
