Imo, this just sounds like something that would fit into the Maemo 5 HIG:
But, anyway, if you need help, that's fine too.
(Btw, wish I could help right now, but I'm pretty tied up.)

- Text input for search string (with a Search button)
- Pannable window with search results
- Text input for filtering
- Icons (maybe) for search result categories (e.g., phone, GPS, etc.)
But, anyway, if you need help, that's fine too.

Imo, this just sounds like something that would fit into the Maemo 5 HIG:Unless you want something arbitrarily more snazzy than that, am I getting the picture? If I am, I'd say base the UI off of the Contacts app.

What I am asking for in this thread is an icon for the application, I mean the icon that the applications have in the applications menu.
Probably I have worded bad the request in the original post. Thanks anyway Tim ;-)

I do have pretty good skills with graphic design, but I'd really like some ideas, even vague, how the icon should look like before starting to work on in

The main function of the application is "search business", so it could be:
- search = a magnifier
- business = a building
It would be nice an icon joining a magnifier and a building ;-)

I'm writing an application to search services/business from different web sources, show information about them, with GPS, phone, contacts integration, etc. I have uploaded an alpha version (0.3) to Extras-devel, but it's not prepared for end-users yet. It will be in the future.
So because of my limited skills in graphics design, I'm asking for your help here.
The application doesn't have an icon yet, so it would be really nice if someone can come with one icon for the application.
I don't have any special thoughts on how the icon should look, so please, surprise me ;-)
