It's a good camera but, as I understand it, its the software that makes it great.

That is a fair point. Let me rephrase. It sounds about appropriate for the kind of device that I expect it to be.

If you didn't get my point - fine but silly? Do you think I don't understand why the price is that big? Logical arguments about the price tag don't change anything if you take a broader perspective. Now days the prices are insane and people still tend to pay them for basically toys.
