Hi guys,

my new N900 has just arrived. It is my first new N900. I bought a used one years ago, then a spare device which is not original I think.

There's one left. I thought one could be interested.

Might be new but most probably a refurbished one as warranty return (as stated in the details). So not that great of a deal.
In case boxed and new/sealed I would jump the wagon...

In the description I read "kein Kopie oder generalüberholte Geräte"? The vodafone box looks new and some years old. The white sticker on it is yellowed.

That is what I read:
[Quote]Sie kaufen " ORIGINAL Nokia N900 Neugerät/ Austauschgerät" von Nokia ohne Simlock
kein Kopie oder generalüberholte Geräte.

So it is not new but a Nokia refurbished original, right?

So, "Austauschgerät" means a refurbished device by Nokia, and "keine generalüberholten Geräte" means not refurbished by anyone else - if the description should make sense.

The price is high but still realistic.
I can only recommend to search Nokialand's own ebay: https://www.huuto.net/haku?words=n900
There's one for sale for 60€; it's not a scam.

as been for sale over a year. I have made three times a 25€ offer to him but haven@'t accepted. At the same time period there went on with box and cables with 30€ to my friend and with 40€ to my cousin. I havew offered always 30 with a box and 25 without exxcept the phone. Let one 35€ offer slip which has bothered me. But I have four and I buy old laptops as a hobby (also with 20€ limit) so have to spare money for those. Just got a Olivetti Echos 43 color in a working condition with charger plus a working matrice printer and manuaks for both plus a full stack paper for that old printer plus ink tapes with 20€. Hoping so much of the red 12mb ram laptop. Beatyful and working with win95. Hoping to boot it with KolibriOs when I have time.

I suspect they are Chinese garage and sweatshop repaired 'new' phones, they have been around since 2011 or so.
They are really dirty hot air gun hacks where they desolder old parts from a pile of dead N900s to make a few sometimes barely working phones. It really messes up the EMMC to cook them like that, two failed within weeks of delivery after I had already given good feedback. Locally made plastic cases and LCDs complete the illusion until you open the case. I will not make that mistake again.
Perhaps it is possible that they were non-QWERTY keyboards which sell more slowly and at lower price? I doubt it though, I have had best luck in the past buying clearly used N900s rather than so called 'new' garbage repair jobs with new Chinese made outer plastic.
With eBay at least if you open up your 'new' phone and find a trash heap repaired system board you can claim counterfeit and get your money refunded

That's actually the same guy I bought my N900 & a 64GB N9 from.
Both devices are working just fine, the N900 most definitely so (see my signature).
Seller willtek3 must have several of those then.
Also other "almost vintage" Nokia devices.
If someone needs help with the ordering (because language barrier), PM me. I'm not advertising, I didn't actually realise it was the same person at first, but it was a satisfying deal, him willing to talk about realistic offers, and the devices hold what he promised.
I don't think they're refurbished in any way.
