Well...my Spanish is not as fine as my fiance's ...
and my written Spanish is even worse than my spoken...
And I didn't quite make out the entirety of your statement..
But for sure..."idiot" and "endsormeans" present in the same sentence ...
in any language...
does not impress me.

A "madcap" ..a "dancing ninny"...many names I can think of could apply...and I take no offense in...

But "idiot" is not one....

I am not the one...
running from thread to thread asking so many wildly differing questions,
expecting others to solve them for me and hand me answers,
and not listening to sage advice from others....
to solve my problems..

In fact...
On the topic of even asking questions ...
It has been a very long time since I needed to ask a technical question to a problem on one of my devices...

Not that that has much bearing on the pressing issues at hand...

Since I am not the one asking so many questions and wishing for immediate answers handed to me...

Am I now?

In fact ...I'm one of the guys here that makes easy step by step instructions anyone can do...(including those with no understanding of Linux at all...) ....
As long as they pay attention and focus on following the instructions exactly...

So...."idiot" ....and "endsormeans" in the same sentence are perhaps the last 2 things that go together currently.

El Cid, for your information, no one is "attacking " you. You came here demanding help, without providing enough information. You ignored every piece of advice and every question that could help us to help you. You acted like it was our duty to somehow magically figure out what your problem was. And now you have the gall to act like we somehow wrongerd you and go and get some random files from somewhere and assume they are the solution to your problem? No, my friend. I am not impressed either.

pichlo, it is not a random file, I compiled and shared it specifically to be able to install nvim on n900 for myself (see the specific thread); it is not a solution to this specific problem that el cid is trying to solve though... and I must agree with you...

Sorry, justmemory. I meant no disrespect to you or your files. By "random" I meant exactly that, "randomly found, with an uncertain connection to OP's specific case".

I am still convinced that El Cid's problems started with using the wrong installer, most likely one for the N9 rather than N900, but he/she/it is too stubborn (or clueless) to admit (or realise) it.

I meant that too so no worries I did not take that on I just wanted to clarify

And this is where I do agree with you.
