The topic for the month is nostalgia, however that can be pictured. Black and white photo of an old car or tube radio, someone wearing old style clothes or hairdo, N900 selfie, …

Rules:
  • Photos must be taken during this month (September 2022) and posted before voting starts (photos must be taken between announcing the theme and starting the voting).
  • Photos must be taken by the posting member.
  • Photos must be taken with your phone's camera.
  • Post processing is allowed but you have to say what you did.
  • Users must name the phone and software they used.
  • Users post only one photo per entry.
  • Users can change the entry only once.
  • 3 day voting period starts on September 28th at 22:00 UTC and ends at 22:00 UTC on September 30th.
  • Winner of the vote will have the honour to choose the next month competition theme.
  • You are allowed to continue off topic on this thread after competition.

So this is my entry for the month. Slightly cropped from sides and a bit sharpened and rezised for forum specs. Taken with MotoG8, unofficial LOS 18.1, gcam.

Authentic snapshot of my desk as is. Just closed the window, took stuff away that was covering my c-cassette recorder and put the lights on.


The books were left from my first good attempt to make noise with C64. First mod from a ready given code.

@pichlo If it is like that I have a useless contribution. Anyway, I wanted to share it, even so you are probably right...



Pro1 stock camera. Added a soft vignette and a little bit of contrast via darktable.

I thought after testing Maemo Leste on Pinephone I better check if my N900 is still working. And there it is: Taken with N900, not cropped, no processing and taken with the stock camera app. It's now "nostalgia" iself but still the best phone of all time.

It is a Bondwell Model 8. Dos machine. No hdd, only one disc drive. I have just put a portable tv screen to it to be able to play dos games.
