Hi,

lately after copying some files over usb on my device, it came up with an "Input/output error".

dmesg gives me:

[ 847.634735] FAT: Filesystem error (dev mmcblk0p1)
[ 847.634765] invalid access to FAT (entry 0x5244454c)
[ 847.634948] FAT: Filesystem error (dev mmcblk0p1)
[ 847.634979] invalid access to FAT (entry 0x49545849)
[ 966.600769] FAT: Filesystem error (dev mmcblk0p1)
[ 966.600769] invalid access to FAT (entry 0x5244454c)
[ 966.601013] FAT: Filesystem error (dev mmcblk0p1)
[ 966.601013] invalid access to FAT (entry 0x49545849)
The filesystem /home/user/MyDocs is read-only mounted.

So my questions are:

Is it save to reflash the device?

Or is there an appropriate fck command to fix this?

Martin

Update: reflashed it without any hassle
