I know the PR 1.2 is coming late next month or early march, but i have this idea:

1) use Folders application (http://store.ovi.com/content/221072?...e=search&pos=1), create a folder and put shorcuts within

2) hide desktop shortcuts using this line:

mv appname.desktop /usr/share/application/.appname.desktop

(replacing "appname" with the name of the application that you want to hide)

What do you think?

It's not working, meefolders not open hidden apps. Meefolders creates another shortcut to the same file (appname.desktop in usr/share/applications) and locates it in the new folder that you create. I'll just wait the PR 1.2.
