This antirussian propaganda is very loud here in Finland. TV and newspapers are consentrated to few owners who are eager to join country to NATO, resulting media trying to build new cold war. People are behaving paranoidic, seeing evil russians everywhere. Things have gone bad and I fear things get even worse. In times like this we need to find common ground here.

I am glad when russians develop Sailfish version to their homemarket. Russians want to produce a phone with better privacy than IOS or Android provide with NSA. Therefor russian version SFOS can not have backdoors, because backdoors can are surely used against them. The result is better privacy to everyone. If russians did not want privacy, then it would surely be cheaper for them to continue using Android and IOS.

relax, global sailfishos will not receive any russian services and stuff. russian contribution to sailfishos is just for common bugfixes and improvements. russian services will be only preinstalled to phones on russian markets.

Hey all. Life walks in misterious ways, I've always wanted to work, first for Nokia on Maemo, then meeGo, then jolla on Sailfish, now I work for OMP as a lead designer.
We're currently on a very early stage of deployment so current OMP website is just an extremely rough dummy, please don't use it to make any kind of assumptions yet. Seriously thought, albeit a bit OT. I really like the fact that Jolla comes with a very minimalistic set of preinstalled apps. I have my objections to their choice of "bare minimum" (for example, I would leave out Gallery and add a file manager instead) but it is a step in the right direction. Chess or any other game is a job for the app store.
