as far as I know (from the past competition) there is no sign up process.
You can add yourself (and your app) to this table.
Or write here that you want to be added

P.S. : zehjotkah is that ok for you?

CHEERS!

I was thinking of entering a game called ameegos based on the meego characters.

Will I be sued, thrown into prison and beaten by the copyright police?

Hi everyone!
wow, that's amazing!!
we didn't think anyone would like to submit their app on the first two days already!
there will be a site where you have to submit your app via a nice interface. also you have to upload at least two screenshots and a short description.
there it is easy for everyone to check all available apps and decide for which one they would to vote.
the voting process will be via the same system we have used for the maemo community council voting.

Will it possible to update an application (bug fixes etc) once it has been submitted?

I thought more about registering myself as a contributor, write somewhere the name of my app, register it at extra-devel and begin with the programming and testing and inform the users here as soon as I have something working to get some feedback...

So, no extra devel? No way to install them easily and to push them to extra-testing and extras as soon as they are polished?

You wrote about 2 screenshots. Are more possible, too?
If everything works well I need 6 screenshots. (or a Link to a different Webpage with the description)

Of course you should submit your app to extras devel and promote it as fast as possible to testing/extras.
The site exists as a one stop shop for EVERY submitted app (x86 MeeGo Apps can't be uploaded to maemo extras).

At least two screenshots. You will be able to upload a lot more...

We have a extra beginner category! So if you're developing for maemo/MeeGo the first time (at least the first time releasing something to the public) you're in for the additional beginner category. Your app will take part in the normal category, where it belongs to, but also in the baginner category.

Thanks for participating everyone! We're trying to get the site up and running asap!
