Hi every1,
Is anybody working on a new build of vncviewer for os2008?
how difficult should be to port it from OS2007?

i must admit im aslo awaiting a port of the vncviewer as i found it very usefull for supporting reletives on their pc's no matter my location.

I'm also hoping to see VNC viewer sooner rather than later.

Wouldn't mind seeing a VNC server, either.

This X11vnc server works fine for me in OS2008.

Yep I had this issue too as it's not mentioned on the project homepage - it's there at the top of the project files list though

Whew, glad I found this thread! I was beginning to panic a bit. VNCViewer is an essential app for me. I can work on my various computers from anywhere. Thanks guys!

do you need port forwarding for VNC?
or does it magically work with my local tubes? thanks.

i got it to work by adding port :5900 to the IP.
but my taps don't register on the desktop of the N800 or the button that brings up the applications. weird enough everything else works. like taping Web, Contacts, or anywhere else once something is launched.
