Wouldn't file manager do that for you ?

There is another file viewer emelfm2, which has been ported to n900 by one member. But its not in repository, you will have to google for it.

There's also Cute Explorer. which has now made it into the main maemo.org catalogue. It's pretty similar to the standard file manager but provides access to the whole filesystem (well, depending on user permissions).
