are you trying to run ./configure from somwhere in MyDocs?
That might do this, as fat system doesnt support permissions.
try from some other position, like /home/user/

the permissions for the scripts are important.
If permissions are for "user", even root will not be allowed to execute.
Try to run ./configure as user, not root.

I'm in open mode since this morning and I realize that Nokia Suite won't connect me to the Internet using the 3G connection through USB (since then, I connected everyday with USB tethering through Nokia Suite). Wifi tethering using the Wifi hotspot application still works. Is this related to open mode? Any workaround?

Does PR 1.3 update the kernel? If yes, when can se expect sources and an openmode kernel?

I will try and ask for sources today. (EDIT: Done) Shipping will take a few weeks though.

No idea RE kernel, feel free to try.

Kernel is now 2.6.32.54
So, yes, kernel is updated and you loose open-mode. This is propably easily patched once we get kernel sources, but no go until then
