Don't try this at home!

I put the loaner Nokia N800 I have in the back pocket of my backpack. I carried the backpack with me whenever I left the house. I did not surf or listen to music or read using the N800. I didn't turn it off, either.

Eight days later, when I pulled the internet tablet out of its sleeve, was glowing (as it always does when I pick it up) and one bar showed on the battery.

How long will the battery charge last?

I don't know. I can't last longer than eight days!

About a year ago, I went on holidays to Hungary for a week. I used my 770 on the train to watch a movie and for reading eBooks. After having arrived in Hungary, I didn't use my 770 the whole time. On my last day in Hungary, the device even got wet in my backpack due to walking through Budapest while it was snowing like hell.
On the train back to Germany, I noticed that the device became wet (luckily it survived) and was still running!
