question: if I'm using openmode, and reflash to original firmware, will the Big Scary Warning dissapear?

For me it did disappear after flashing the original firmware again, at least under PR1.1. Didn't flash open mode yet for PR1.2

I've not tried but reading some post I saw something about a bit changing so the BSW shows until you reflash again, that's what I think..

I love BSW I used to hate it, but not anymore

My understanding is that n950 was still on a beta 1.2 firmware. Does the n950 beta PR1.2 have the same kernel as the n9 PR1.2 prod? if so, that's great. I just wanted to confirm if anyone had actually used this specific build.

Thanks!

more recent SDK-DVD.ISO appeared (courtesy Nokia and their weird policies), get it at
http://maemo.cloud-7.de/HARM/N9/1.2-2/
incl some diffs between the two

I bought the N9 for my wife, who isn't really a techie, and as such I haven't messed around with it. It is pretty much stock. The last thing I want to do is give her a phone and then bork it with all sorts of hacks.

I do all of my testing on my N950.

Is the kernel different? If so, have you determined how it differs?
