i love the idea of words, or to add your own icons to customise the widgets. i have specific desktops for internet, media, navigation, contacts etc. to be able to specify these would be awesome. definatly some sort of icon colour changer or transparency to better match my theme would also be amazing. thanks for this widget its awesome really looking forward seeing it develop

why not just create whatever images you want and put them where he said to?

This is great. For starters -- I have 7 desktops -- I put 2 thru 6 on the first view and 1 on each of the others, to conserve desktop space. Wherever I am I can click 1 and then any number to get to any view.

To use a word, I guess we'd go to the /usr/share/pixmaps/desktop-switcher directory and create a .png file with the word, and replace the switch_desktop_05.png file with our word png file and we'd have a word that went to view 5 when clicked.

Are you posting same question in all threads??

use the search and if not use google, and also if you read instruction manual can be a good thing, dont need to asking same in all threads of the forum.

thats great, i go to take screenshoots of my desktops and create mini png to replace it for each number, like this i cas see which destop i want to go looking for the pic of the desktop

hello nicolai, i change the icons for others and i would like to know if can i resize the size of the bottons a little more big, are there any config file to can change it?

The widget size is fixed at the moment.
In the next version I will make this configurable.
