hey im buying a n800 soon and i was wondering if the internet on nokia n800 like a pc? i mean by that is like its the set up like a pc? just in smaller size? or it has to use mobile version like other nokia mobile? and can you just download whatever you want on the internet like you can do on a pc? or just certain things?

and the live messenger is it like the pc version or is it the mobile version

The browser is based on Mozilla (an early FF3 alpha, specifically); it's not a mobile browser, and is fairly like a desktop browser. It does lack some typical browser functions such as viewing page source, though.

I'm not sure what you mean "the live messenger"; it has a chat client which does a number of protocols. It's not the same as any desktop or mobile chat program I'm aware of, although some desktop programs (pidgin and amsn, at least) are also available.

The browser looks essentially full size. The resolution is 800 x 480.
It is possible to select mobile versions of sites.
