As a total hack, I tried adding a new catalogue:
Catalogue name: Extras
Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras/
Distribution: fremantle-1.3
Components: free non-free

and disabled the old extras. The app manager finds all the files and updates I would expect, and no more error. But I have no idea what could go wrong if I try to install apps from here. Do any of you know whether it should be OK. My guess is that the 1.2 repo will be back soon

Does anyone know how I could delete the built in Maemo repository and reinstall it? that worked for the extras, testing, and devel repos, just not the original Maemo. When I select the Maemo catalog, I don't get an option to delete the catologue like the other ones? Can someone please help me with this?
As I said, it worked for the other ones. Thanks

Jayboy: Best I could do was just disable it using the check box. Alternatively, I guess you could try to edit the apt sources list manually (in /etc/apt) but the list might just get re-created by the package manager.

My App Man now does not load the maemo.org repository I did run the "apt-get update" and "apt-get update" recently. Any ideas what I can do to solve this issue.
