What is systemui's menu?

Its the menu/window that opens when you press the power button when systemui is running instead of ASUI.

Okay. I just tried that.

Home button doesn't bring up the task manager in systemui.

And honestly, I don't remember it bringing it up in asui either.

Too me it seems like a new behavior.

Hey auouymous!

I'm probably the biggest fan of your Audio Lock feature.

But still, it's giving me nothing but fits lately.

Is there any chance you know how to clean up the code on this?

It has been on the bug list for quite some time.

I've discovered a few things that might fix the alarmd problems and once that is taken care of I'll release 0.6.1. For the 0.6.2 release I am hoping to add a menu to the statusbar applet and figure out how to close menus when opening ASUI. I'll also try to fix the task manager home button problem. Could you install the debug binary, open ASUI, press the home button and then send me the log?

ASUI, Home button log. Hopefully this is enough of what you need.

In regards to your Audio Lock feature, wow, it's just being crazy with me.

Now all it does is turn on the backlight for 1 second and then blanks the screen.

After 5 seconds or so, it will stop even doing this and becomes completely non-responsive.

If you can give me the exact steps on how you would like for me to debug this, go ahead and tell me and I'll send a log your way.

Also, this is of non-importance, but whenever I use the settings, ASUI messes with the screen brightness and blank and dim settings.

Cheers buddy.

That home button log file doesn't show you pressing the home key.

Can you send me another complete debug log with audio lock breaking and the home key opening task manager?

When you use what settings?

Okay. I'll do all that in an hour or two later tonight.

When you use what settings?
When I change any settings in your ASUI Settings app.

Okay.

Power button, this brings up ASUI, then Home Key log.
asui-debug-20111130-232705-r2-homekey.zip

Started up Xmms and began to play a song. (It would be nice if Audio Lock did this on initiation instead)

I pressed previous song, pause/play, and next song several different times.

Each time the screen would light then go blank after one second.

No change in the soundtrack.

After about 15 seconds, all keys became unresponsive.

I hope this can help you somehow.
