I haven't played for a while and now I have noticed that I am not able to load my previously saved games as they are not shown in the Load dialogue. If I begin a new game and save it for later playing, I see the same behaviour, not any saved game is shown in the load dialogue.

I'm using a pristine PR1.3 and latest version of fheroes2 from the repos. The previously saved games are still in my .fheroes/save folder, but the new created ones are not there.

I have checked permissions and ownership of folders but I have no clue about what is happening.

Can anyone provide me some help?

How about uninstallng and reinstalling the game?
Or perhaps try apt-get purge fheroes2 (back up the saved games first)
The game runs perfectly on mine, including the decent music.

Thanks, it's working now, though I had to manually remove the .fheroes folder even after a purge.

Not sure how to catch you, so i will post here:

Frozen Depths, mega awesome roguelike that works with the qemu trick that works with ADOM. Just switch the binary file name in the script, requires 25 rows so you have to minimize.
Another that works yhis way is berserker RL.

New upstream version r2441:
Changelog:

* Added option to autosave at begin of day.
* Fixed AI recruiting hero and hero surrender status.
* Updated XML resources.
* Improved AI: Recruit troops for castles, prioritise range attackers and more.
* Added game: WeekOfMonster can be 1 in every 3
* Fixed battle animation, opponent animation and kill troop animation.
* Fixed GUI: Incorrect focus after game restart and incorrect show splitter

I hope someone could build a new Maemo release and upload it to extras devel.

I just happened to be developing in scratchbox when I got the email about your post so I compiled and ran the latest upstream on my device and it seemed to work. I didn't actually play, just checked that longtap etc worked. I uploaded the new version to autobuilder, so please report any (new) issues you encounter. Package should be there in 25 minutes.

EDIT: Apparently build failed :/ I'm investigating.
