Thas very weid.
I even are not able to open https://meego.com on the built in browser. I get a notification "Page can not be opened"

When I now try https://geocaching.com/login I get a certificate problem notification but can successfully log in.
How ever as soon as I click on another link on the geocaching.com website, it hangs again at approx. 80%. I guess it gets stuck on the certificate, but doesnt show a notification.
Since there seems to be no way to import the cerificate, this browser gets very annoying

Since it works w/o problems with firefox mobile, I am sure the problem lies in the nokia browser

In any way, It would be great if you could add a link onto your CacheMe page to my port once it is completed.
I really don't care about the harmattan version and you are free to distribute it however you want.

This of course applies to anybody else, so if you charge money, someone else may just upload the same version for free ... the same problem i'd like to avoid with the Symbian version.

So as long as your version doesn't show up for free in the OVI store for Symbian i am perfectly fine with it.#

And yes, i'll link to your page if you have a useful version or even managed to get it into OVI.

But i still think that a real QML application is a better investment for your time. E.g. AGTL is imho being ported to QML ...

Yes, really weird.
I am N900 user, but have the same problem with MicroB and the site geocaching.com (the sign-in popup disappearing without success). Geocaching.com/login works flawlessly. So Opera works with both sites.
No problem with meego.com at all.
Maybe worth an own thread?

And concerning AGTL: I think its one of the best options for Maemo (besides GPXView), so at least worth a (deeper) look.
But as I am not (and likely will never be) a Harmattan user (except Nokia will release some kind of N950), I do not mind.

Personally I'm so much accustomed to AGTL I can't imagine using CacheMe -- I am completely lost with it's interface and TBH, I think webhamster done great job with intuitiveness of AGTL's UI (otoh, I don't like desktop version, for ie. on Ubuntu ))

But I must first get N9 :/

Hi!

Good news, I just bought a N9, so you can expect AGTL working in a few weeks! For N900 users there's no reason to be alarmed, I plan to continue this version as well.

Yes, that's right: http://meego.org works but https://meego.org not with the built in browser. Now www.geocaching.com opens slowly but do not hang.

Congratulations to webhamster for N9 and welcome to code AGTL to N9. I was happy user of AGTL with N900 and prefer probably that but CacheMe does the job too. Nice to have options.

Nice to see the N9 start to bloom also from geocacher's view
I'll have to try out the CacheMe N9 port and the new N9 AGTL before we decide on whether there is any need for additional geocaching applications (well there always is, but is it worth the spent time).

Also, as a Finn I'm glad to see that Mapsi is also coming now for N9
