I suppose thus might be so, and that the same issue might hit any other ports.

@nieldk well, there are pretty much work to make it acts like official client, and i was never blocked myself.
@kumardodla yesterday i pushed very big commit to github, client is usable now, but not ready to be released as 0.0.1 pre-pre-alpha build anyway.It can send texts and receive any kind of messages. working emoji, and chats/contacts list, working sync.

Coderus some questions if you dont mind, im so excited about a new whatsapp application, ofc if you can answer.

1) How is loading time when you open whatsapp , can be improved?
2) if you wont support messages and profile importing can be done in another way, for example with an independent app if someone will make?
3) will have function to pay subscription, to renew, like official client? because my account will expire in 1 month and idk how to renew
4) All messages will be in one window? i mean to only scroll from first message to last without loading, like official client?
5) Can you make Whatsapp to show you offline when you have internet connection but whatsapp is running in daemon process, not open, and show you online only when you are in whatsapp app?
6) What are the chances to make an option to be able to change application picture or to change shortcut app because im a religious person and im not gonna use it while has that star.

1) it should not depends on messages/chats count and it's about 3-4 seconds.
2) will think about it before releasing. currently i have no wazapp/whatsup on my phone, if you want to participate - send me email with wazapp and whatsup databases, i'll look if i can use it for importing.
edit: the main issue is wider whatsforever database, wazapp and whatsup databases doesn't contain enough information for media and contacts to be used in my application. text messages can be imported with no problems, but contacts, broadcasts lists and groups should be synced manually by user.
