Maybe you are affected with the same problem as other voip services.
Check step 2 in the wiki page:

I am also using pfingo and I am trying to get it to work on my n900. Same problem as you, "unable to establish connection".

pfingo trial can be found in http://www.pfingo.com.
I have got it working for Nokia phones like Nokia N82 and Nokia E65.
The error is "unable to establish connection".
Anybody has any suggestion how can I troubleshoot the problem?
