Hello everybody:

Shure just enveiled their new earphones for the 'price concious customer'. They come with a nice addition, a microphone to use it with your cellphone(AKA N800 or n810) Now I understand they have different connectors and thats why I wanted for somebody more literare on the adapters to help me and let me know if the 102s would work?

PLEASE LOOK AT THE COMPATIBILITY CHARGE: IS THE N800 A MPA-2B OR MPA-3C COMPATIBILITY??

Judging by the picture in the first link, it appears to use a TRRS connector. If so it should work fine. I don't know what the difference is between MPA-2B and MPA-3C, but the Shure Online Store does say that it's "compatible with.....3.5mm stereo - 4 pin music enabled phones", which is the type of connector the internet tablets use

Well, it's the same as the iPhone as far as order of connections, but there may be differences in length. (There are reports that iPhone earphones need a spacer to hold them ~1-2mm out.)

Anyway, I'm sure you could search the internet for pinouts of "Palm Treo™ smartphone" and "Apple iPhone (including 3G) and Blackberry Curve", or even look up Nokia's E62 and N91 to see which is the same.
