could these, with a powered hub, be an essential accessory for N800 owners? hopefully someone will get hold of one and try it with linux and let us know how well it works!

Only in WiMAX areas, so count me out... but worth a try, yes.

I'm willing to try one out at some point. I think the 3G or WiMAX usb sticks coupled with those Cradlepoint pocket wifi routers are the way to go for existing tablet users... throw that combo in your pocket or backpack, and you still have your small form factor NIT in your hand.

Actually, also throw in Texrat's/Joluis' pocketable server idea in the mix and you're rockin!
