I'm using the Power Kernel and Mobilehotspot from extras-testing.

Every time I press 'start', I get prompted to choose a network connect (although I've already picked GPRS in the MH settings), and no matter what I pick (yes or no) the SSID is never detected by my tablet or laptop.

Sarting mobilehotspot_backend from a root shell moans once about a Introspection error, but some googling suggest this is harmless.

Is this a known issue ?

yes. but a lot of us, usually, use advanced interface switcher to turn off wlan, so maybe you forgot to enable it for reshare the connection via wifi...

"advanced interface switcher to turn off wlan"
I don't know what this means ? Is it part of Mobile Hotspot ? My WIFI is set to connect on demand. I use AutoDisconnect but that's it.

"forgot to enable it"
How can I check ?

If you don't use this app (advanced interface switcher) my suggest is useless....so nevermind xD
I tought that because sometimes when I use Mobile Hotspot it doesn't work because advanced interface switcher has turned off my wlan.

Maybe I'll have to try again after the next Power Kernel update.

I'll back from my trip to Brazil.
I've used MobileHotspot every day and it worked perfectly.
I'm using the newest version of the power kernel.
