I have begun playing with Tribler as an alternative to sharing FOSS apps and CC licensed media using website based bittorrent clients.
Tribler uses a modified form of the TOR onion routing method and includes swarmed network searching which eliminates needing a working torrent/magnet indexer website.

I don't have a working development machine or the skills to debug a customized build and I think the GUI would need tweaks to look and work well on the N900 or N9.

What would be the best way to quickly get a working Tribler install running? Easy Debian seems the only reasonable option for me at this point though a native Maemo or Meego build with the video player stuff removed might be more appropriate

All kind of deps issues on easy Debian due to the inability to do an apt-get upgrade on it being too small.
