Hi there

I am having troubles with uploading my deb file to extras repository.
Since I am using Windows 7, I used PuTTY for communication.

3 days ago I was unable to connect (no mater what, server was just refusing public key). Then I gave up.

Today came again, and just for curiosity I tried to connect, and it was somewhat successful!
Public key is no longer problem (I guess that server needed some time to changes take effect), however now I get this message:
Using username "drax".
Authenticating with public key "rsa-key-xxxxxxxx"
Linux wml0250 2.6.32-5+logica3 #1 SMP Mon Feb 1 12:49:32 EET 2010 i686

The programs included with the Debian GNU/Linux system are free software;
the exact distribution terms for each program are described in the
individual files in /usr/share/doc/*/copyright.

You cannot execute anything here.
Not enough arguments.
Goodbye.
Can anyone help me?

This means that shell access is not allowed, this is normal.
Try using the pscp.exe command to upload your files.

Offer of public key accepted

Opened channel for session
Started a shell/command
Using SFTP
Connected to drop.maemo.org

Server sent command exit status 1
Disconnected: All channels closed

What could I do wrong?

EDIT: I have also tried with FileZilla, but I get same exit status 1

I tried those commands:
pscp -v D:\Programiranje\QT\instalacije\crosswordsqml_0_0_ 1_armel_fremantle.deb drax@drop.maemo.org:/var/www/extras-..._fremantle.deb
pscp -v D:\Programiranje\QT\instalacije\crosswordsqml_0_0_ 1_armel_fremantle.deb drax@drop.maemo.org:/var/www/extras-devel/incoming-nonfree/fremantle/
By the way, I have running in background pageant.exe (with set valid private key).

@sifo Thanks
But if possible, I would like to be able to send file directly from PC.

This looks correct to me.

The only other thing I can think of trying is the -scp option:
http://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/...r5.html#S5.2.2

Good luck in the competition. Tomorrow you can update the wiki with instructions for Windows users:
http://wiki.maemo.org/Uploading_to_Extras

About update, I don't know how to do it (I don't see anywhere edit button).
I would make tutorial right now (because I have some time at the moment).
