after deleting a file from usr/bin
and then putting the file back to usr/bin
the file has lost its symlink as shown in properties
it was symlinked to maemo-invoker
now its not
can anyone help me symlink this again?
already tried lots of xterm commands but the file is still not symlinked

Can you explain in more detail exactly what you mean?

Long story short:

Code:
cd /usr/bin
ln -s maemo-invoker rtcom-messaging-ui

Read your PM :P

If file exists, then you have to delete it, if you want your symlink back...
A symlink contains no information except the "pointer" to the linked file
