Some sites offer iPhone apps for free. Thats why I think it might be possible that they are willing to support QSportsEvent by giving access to their data under certain conditions...maybe ads or links to those websites or the app published under their name/brand.

Examples:
http://itunes.apple.com/app/futbol24...re/id338764030
http://www.sport1.de/de/themen/mobile/

To do it, just launch X Terminal and type 'qsportsevent' (without the quotes, of course). Note! Don't press the Add/Remove buttons in the Favourites tab as that can cause the app to crash for another reason (in version 0.0.4 the installed Db is read only, so no updates are possible).
The xTerm trick works for me also !

Ok, I'm working on some very 'prototype' kind of functionality for QSportsEvent. I plan to use it for today's Champions League semifinal. I might be able to release it to this forum in time. Let's see if it is of any interest to anyone...

I will mainly follow Inter Milan. In case you rather want to follow Barcelona, please provide a file in the following format:

Code:
Inter|1|Francesco Toldo
Inter|12|Júlio César
Inter|21|Paolo Orlandoni
Inter|51|Vid Belec
Inter|2|Iván Córdoba
Inter|4|Javier Zanetti
Inter|6|Lucio
Inter|13|Maicon
Inter|23|Marco Materazzi
Inter|25|Walter Samuel
Inter|26|Cristian Chivu
Inter|39|Davide Santon
Inter|46|Luca Caldirola
Inter|5|Dejan Stankovic
Inter|7|Ricardo Quaresma
Inter|8|Thiago Motta
Inter|10|Wesley Sneijder
Inter|11|Sulley Muntari
Inter|15|René Krhin
Inter|19|Esteban Cambiasso
Inter|20|Joel Chukwuma Obi
Inter|52|Antonio Esposito
Inter|53|Luca Tremolada
Inter|9|Samuel Eto'o
Inter|17|MacDonald Mariga
Inter|22|Diego Milito
Inter|27|Goran Pandev
Inter|45|Mario Balotelli
Inter|49|Mattia Destro
Inter|89|Marko Arnautovic
You could get the data from here: http://www.uefa.com/uefachampionslea...uad/index.html

You could probably also find Lyon and B. Munchen around there...

Seems the Autobuilder now can handle pre PR1.2/Qt4.6, so I will give it a try in the next version, maybe today, maybe not...

To keep the readability high I have taken out the "Sports Tracker" name since the title will be under the icon anyway. We can either have just a Q (which I suggest)

64x64

48x48

64x64

48x48

or we have this:

64x64

48x48

For all: .png + Transparent Background.

As a shortcut on the desktop, the name is not there and would have to be in the icon. 'Q' is too generic as many apps built with Qt start with Q, e.g., my own QTeachMe. I really liked the Q shaped football!

That is why I designed my icon with a black background. White on black is much more readable than black on white. I assure you that the icon will be readable if you put a light colour on a dark background. Even text,

Thanks! I'll certainly make use of those! Can I request two more?

Size 64x64 and 48x48.
'+' icon in green (like traffic light green)
'-' icon in red (like traffic light red)

As a shortcut on the Desktop I do not want text underneath hence it is a SHORTCUT and I want to quickly identify the button by it's colour/shape/icon, not text. Let's keep it simple.

But yeah, I agree with the Q, it's too broad as a stand-alone: will do a new one today. Problem is, we are talking about a minuscule button in sizes 64x64 / 48x48, we loose a lot of detail we do not even need to include, therefore I strongly advice to keep it simple.

@pantera1989, without trying to step on your toes, the ones your made are nice pictures, but have not got much to do with standard logo/icon design.
