droll,

What is "Ishal while grep-ing for percent"?

Anyway, for this kind of an app it should accurate out the box.

The app is correct (I presume, haven't tried it). The built in battery meter "jumps" in steps, so presents itself as full between 100% and 80%. When the battery drops below 80% it slices one fifth of the battery meter. At 60% next slice, and so forth. If you install batterygraph you can see these Bars represented.
Therefore the widget is (more) correct when showing 84% while the nokia battery meter shows full.

Oh ok, but I rather see it at 100% when the battery is full. I'm way to use to my old phone (HD2).

1 thing i notice is that when charging, the LED indicator shows the green light...meaning it is fully charged, but this app still shows 96% full. i waited for about 30mins more, still it was at 96% full. when i unplugged the charger, it went down to 93% full.

It's normal for the battery to lose some capacity after some time. Press the statistics (click the widget) and you will see that the last reported full value is less than the battery's standard maximum value.
