well even if it werent great it would just be cool to be able to do it. i do a lot of interstate driving, and even a notice of .5 miles before an exit would be more than enough.

still good to know its not a power hog.

I didn't say it wasn't a power hog. Just not a CPU hog. :-) If you use the GPS all day long, I'd keep it plugged in. It's too bad the plug doesn't insert into the backside of the car mount so you get immediate charging upon N810 insertion into the mount. Oh well, charge it to full at the start of the day, and you should be able to make it through with average use.
