I will probably upload to openrepos.net once the next bugfix release is done.

Great work, amazing app! Can I buy from ovi store (n9) and upgrade to the newest version?

The upgrade from the Nokia store version went really smoothly. Well done!

I no longer have my n9, so I couldn't recover my license to upgrade. But then I looked at the price and decided I'd happily pay in full for a cross-platform license, just to support further development

For me too
Works very fine, but I have two issues:
1. When changing songs, often I heard some short distortions before song starts. I try disabling and enabling sound options, and don't know when exactly this occurs.
2. Automatic Anti-Clip should works like normalize volume in tracks?

This is caused by either the Policy Kit when acquiring the audio resource or by Pulse Audio when returning from the power saving mode and re-enabling the audio HW. This happens on the N9 and Jolla too. Older versions of QuasarMX also flushed buffers in an asynchronous fashion, which caused glitches ("blips") in the output. This has been fixed in 1.8.

This feature makes sure your settings don't distort the output by adjusting the levels to what is digitally reproduceable, ie. no clipping occurs with Anti-Clip turned on. Though the overall volume might be reduced, depending on how much gain you set in each of the filters.

I am currently implementing a volume balance setting, since this has been requested quite often. I hope to have the NEON optimizations done tonight. With a bit of luck I can get the bugfix release out later this week.

Volume normalization / Replay Gain is planned for some future release.

Same here.

A software company that:

-makes great software

-communicates directly with its users

-offers multi-platform support and not only for the top 2 OS'es

-provides extended support by offering upgrade solutions for boycotted platform (Nokia store for Symbian killed by MS)

-can afford to let their users omit the usual 'crappstore' membership requirement and host payment and download possibilities

deserves my support
