Hi,

in "power saving mode" the N9 disconnects 2G/3G automatically when not in use.
Any chance to set that action when in normal mode?

Yes,

Go to Settings -> Internet connections -> turn off background connections.

Okay... when I am using the internet browser, it disconnects after closing the browser.
But when I (manually) update the feed event, it won't disconnect anymore.

Is this normal?

My Sony ericsson use to auto-disconnect and Guys, you have no idea how much battery this saves.for Eg, i would use Browser, when page is leaded Sony ericsson would detect there is no data flowing in or out and then Disconnect, while browser is open, and this is good, when you are reading for Ex. News or a long article. and when you refresh, it reconnects, you get a message saying, Connecting Via Mobile Network. and same thing happens again.

I have an Idea, I presume you will have to reverse engineer the way it works in Power saving, Because it Auto-disconnects in Power-saving, so some one would have to find out how it works in power saving then replicate it in a nice little utility, I noticed that the N900 has an Auto -disconnect App.
