Nokia is so sad... Its almost like they are just thinking about ways to piss off every potential customer... in that way, its quite funny.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and I just got my brand new Nokia N9 two days ago, it's been a long wait but I finally one of it. I was just wondering, how would this affect the "Feed" on my N9? I mean, just like dropbox, that stuff will just stop working, right?

Any API that changes, let's say Twitter's API, and the part(s) of MeeGo/Harmattan that are required to be updated to take advantage of that to function properly; if they're not open will require either the community to code a workaround or it will just remain broken.

I'm sure people will take issue with my wording, but that's the unfortunate truth. Sad when this is one of the "most open" OS's.

Nemo is not a viable option until it supports hardware acceleration.

Unless it has allready been done

It has always *required* hardware acceleration. The UI stack was inherited from Harmattan, which was X11 + Qt 4 + GLESv2 based, nowdays it's EGL/Wayland + Qt 5 + GLESv2
