Since this Friday (after a CSSU update) my main N900 won't boot with a microSD card installed.

I can boot without the card, then insert it and everyting is happy.

When I boot with the card I see:

1. Nokia logo
2, uboot, no kernel on SD so falls back to noloboot
3. loading kernel
4. black screen.

Without the card I get:

1..3 as above
4. dots
5 enter pin....

Strange, no?

(Happens with 2 different cards, a 16gb and an 8gb, both SanDisk ULTRA)

this may be related to filesystem used on the sdcard. i read (even i don't remember where), if i remember well that if there is no vfat partition or if you configured a special partition scheme. The update may reset to defautl config and n900 would not be able to read your table partiton of the sd card. or somthing like that.

Solution was to modify your partition entries in the related boot file to set to your sd card one.

Check for a revised update of CSSU-testing.

I don't think this is the problem - I've only got one partition and it's vfat.

I've tried fsck'ing it just in case, but no change.

I'm using boring CSSU, not testing.
