But it sounds like it shouldn't be impossible to port, right?
I'm building it with QML, so it should not be too difficult - but I'm not sure if it will be right away, initially it will be for the N9 only.

But an eBay app already exists? It's called Shopper or something.. although it lacks many features..
Yeah I tried it - but it lacked loads of features. Hopefully this one will be more slick and will implement the most important features of the Android version.

Could the people voting for option 4 (Nah we don't want it - don't waste your time) please explain why?

I use ebay all the time for buying selling and the Android app is much easier to use on the go - so why not for the N9?

I don't like ebay for similar reasons that I don't like Facebook. It pretends to be cool but actually does everything it can to force people to use it and charge extra money to the small seller while skewing its policies in favor of.big sellers.

I don't like them much but stuff is cheap to get and stuff thats hard to find is easy to find on ebay.

But yeah they put the fees up to screw people. Not like we have much choice not much else we can use other than ebay.

But I take your point.

Hey hey,

i would rate such an app as "- Yes it would be handy but not essential".

Last time i used eBay on the go was to bid for my N9 (on my N79, that procedure was a pain in the ***) and i m very happy about it now. So it worked even on my old N79 but to have a dedicated app on the N9 is nice to have and one more reason to like this device even more!!

Hopefully this will be a lot nicer if I can get rid of these random stupid segfaults I keep getting!

I use a web service framework to reduce the web service calls to simple c++ functions, hence why I am able to get this far. I would need to write everything from scratch using HTML5 and I wouldn't have time, it'll end up being just a crappy barely useable app.
