Here's how I managed to finally download it. I installed this http://www.freedownloadmanager.org/ and the download speed increased 10 times.
It's now just sitting in my download folder ready for me to start the installation. Give that download manager a go and see if you can get it that way.

I was downloading at 70KB /s just by using the link and over 700KB /s with the download manager installed. It is super fast.

Now I'm getting message saying I've reached my download limit (5)... WHY THIS HAS TO BE SO GODDAMN DIFFICULT! I would be happy if I was able to get it downloaded successfully even once.
