what faster kernel? is with the default configurations and default kernel.

What file systems do you use in this test? The stock root filesystem uses JFFS2 which is compressed. That alone could explain the difference. I don't think a faster memory card matters that much.

I use ext2, how can you make a jffs2 in a SD card?

pointless? why? jffs2 is a compressed file system, it can be awsome to have in a n800 a card with a compressed file system, and a card with ext2 (wich is faster).

there is significant overhead in handling jffs2 and it grows with the size of the partition. UBIFS is the future. However I think it would be possible to have jffs2 over SD. Maybe pointless, but possible.
