Wow this is like a dream come true. I've personally tried it and damn this app is one of the slickest I've ever used.

You know it's on the ovi store right?

Here is the link to the ovi store... why send him to another repository when Nokia's own has the file?

I don't think he bothers where it is located. He may even browse the software catalog and see what other useful apps for N9. Ovi store is really impossible to look for any good stuff with all the useless wizard generated RSS feed apps drowning out the gems.

The gems of programs are normally posted here or the meego forums....

I guess that you're not forced to visit My-MeeGo if you don't like the site. But please don't discourage other people from using or recommending it, if they like it and find it useful... I don't think it will help this small platform if it ends up only having the Ovi store, TMO and FMC forums, and every other initiative trying to support the platform is treated like a pest. It needs as rich blogosphere and ecosystem as other platforms if it is supposed to grow, especially when treated by Nokia like it is.

Be sure that the existence of My-MeeGo does not in any way harm the popularity of TMO, FMC or the Ovi store, even without you trying to discourage others from visiting it.

Regarding cloudGPS, My-MeeGo was offering its beta versions for download almost half a year before it appeared on the Ovi store, and before support for the N9 in the Ovi store was launched. Nearly 1100 copies of that app have been downloaded through My-MeeGo so far.

EDIT: Oh, I've just noticed your signature. So you run a site about the N9... I guess you don't like competition...

Cheers,
Michal Jerz
