As I pointed out on TJC a week ago, that's just an Intex Aqua Cloud M6 with a SFOS 1.x screen paint-shopped on to it. It isn't the Power+

Yes, quite refreshing after all those 1950s cars lookalikes, isn't it?

Hope this thing has enough grunt to handle big emails.

What is the current email application in Sailfish ?

If it is Gmail then maybe I ought to be looking somewhere else
Like juiceme, I have no email problems whatsoever and I have 6 general emails and one Exchange. Yes, the email app is quite basic but (just about) usable. My main gripe with Sailfish Email is the very poor folders management. I would love to see something like Modest ported.

I must have been lucky then as I have not been hit by any incompatibility yet.

But I dread the moment I may have to restore my Jolla to factory defaults as I have made so many tweaks to install the dev environment and I do not remember them all.

Oops, wrong thread. Sorry about the OT diversion. Pichlo out.

Ah, perfect. Thanks for clarification!
A link to the tjc quesion would be cool to make this thread more complete imho. Some don't do forum hopping that much.

I only saw its badly edited with sfos1 screenshot.
Power+ has the same buttons on right side, though the speaker grid is missing, correct.
I should have remembered intex even mixing up android homescreens in first annoucements.

So any guess on how reliable the mockups are?
Will we see Aqua Cloud M6 with Sailfish?

My hopes are on a high end flagship device obviously.
Intex could reason that its their first device propably marketed outside india thus the price does not necessarily be as low as on their current offerings.
Jolla could reason that a 4GB device would make sense to promote 64Bit SFOS 2.0. Intex already markets multitasking as a priority and we all know whats needed to accomplish that . Based on nothing but my hopes that is...

The email application is a bit basic but works well for me.
The size is not a problem - only animated GIFs

Bummer. Unless I'm reading the frequency lists wrong -- which is admittedly a real possibility -- it looks like Intex devices are limited to GSM compatibility in the US. Which is unfortunately the same major drawback the Jolla phone had for those of us here.

GSM in itself is not the problem. Its which GSM bands it uses. Would you please provide a link to which GSM bands this phone uses? Thanks!

Current rumour (to the point that Wikipedia have it listed) is that it'll actually be based on the Intex Cloud Flash
